Begin your day with breakfast before embarking on a cultural journey from Volubilis to Meknes. Explore the well-preserved Roman ruins in Volubilis and savor Moroccan cuisine in Meknes, the second imperial city. Immerse yourself in vibrant souks and stunning palaces, concluding your day with a sumptuous dinner at a local riad or restaurant.
Day 3: A Taste of Fez
Start your day by joining a local chef for a morning cooking class, where you’ll learn to make Pastilla, a famous Moroccan dish. Explore Fez with guided visits to landmarks and attractions, including Bou Inania and Attarine Medersas, Karaouiyine Islamic University, and the Nejjarine fountain. Experience the bustling souks and visit the Nejjarine Museum of Arts and Woodworking, immersing yourself in the rich cultural heritage of the city.
Day 4: A Glimpse of Berber Life
After breakfast in Fes, embark on a scenic journey through the breathtaking Middle Atlas Mountains, pausing to explore the charming town of Ifrane, reminiscent of a Swiss village. Immerse yourself in local Berber culture as you visit quaint towns along the
way, indulging in a delicious lunch with a welcoming local family.
Conclude your day at the picturesque Bin Elouidane mountain lake, where the tranquil beauty of the surroundings sets the stage for a restful night at Hotel Widiane.
Day 5: Cooking with Love
Drive along Bin Elouidane lake to Ouaouizaght and immerse yourself in local culture by joining a family for a traditional outdoor cooking workshop. Craft authentic Moroccan dishes, then savor them during lunch and a tea ceremony. Explore the scenic lake with
wakeboarding and kayaking adventures before returning to the hotel for a Moroccan steamed lamb Mechoui dinner. Surrounded by the beauty of the Atlas Mountains, prepare for a night of delicious food and camaraderie.
Day 6: From Nature to the City
Depart from Bin Elouidane for Ouzoud Waterfalls, where you’ll enjoy lunch with a scenic view of the cascading water. Explore the falls and the nearby village, then travel safely to Marrakech. Indulge in Moroccan gourmet cuisine at Al Fassia restaurant in the city center, savoring the flavors of the region amidst the vibrant atmosphere of Marrakech.
Day 7: Savoring Marrakech
Explore Marrakech’s UNESCO World Heritage Site, the vibrant medina. Discover architectural wonders like the Palais de Bahia and Saadian Tombs. Immerse yourself in the aromas and colors of the souks.
Spend your afternoon haggling with traders or visiting Djemaa el-Fna square. Experience the lively atmosphere of the square with its food stalls and performers. Indulge in delicious couscous and tagine dishes from the numerous food stalls.
Day 8: Cooking for a Cause
Join a cooking class at Amal Non-Profit NGO, supporting disadvantaged women, and learn to make traditional couscous in a beautiful garden setting. Hear inspiring stories and discover the NGO’s training programs before enjoying dinner at Nomad, a Moroccan-contemporary restaurant. Sample fresh, seasonal local products and traditional cuisine with a modern twist, immersing yourself in the vibrant culinary scene of Marrakech.
Day 9: The Agafay Experience
Depart Marrakech for the Agafay Desert via Tahnaout, stopping to visit the Argan Oil Cooperative and learn about Argan nut products.
Hike to Armed, the highest village in the Imlil Valley, and experience Berber hospitality with a welcoming family, enjoying a traditional Moroccan meal. Witness a stunning sunset in the Agafay Desert with welcome tea, concluding the day with dinner under the stars and a cozy campfire, creating unforgettable memories amidst the desert landscape.
Day 10: Farewell Morocco!
As your journey through Morocco comes to a close, it’s time to say farewell to this captivating country. We hope that you’ve enjoyed the sights, sounds, and flavors that Morocco has to offer, and that you’ll carry these memories with you for years to come. Our team will arrange for a private transfer to take you to the airport for your return
